Tomas Matraia
Tomas Matraia is the CEO of the international strategic advisory group The AdWisers www.theadwisers.com. The group is specialised in strategic intelligence, leadership & policy analysis, along with internationalisation, innovation & capacity building for the private and public sector.
Mr. Matraia is a seasoned international policy expert and business negotiator, having worked for more than 15 years within United Nations, European Commission, Academia and the private sector. He designed and managed multimillion programmes, projects, facilitated strategic initiatives combining STRI, Industry, SDGs including international ministerial agreements and EU high-level policy dialogues.
His current efforts focus on re-inventing how innovation, procurement, catalytic capital, sustainable development, green growth and international cooperation can be symbiotically applied to offer new actionable and replicable models, evidence-based policies, business opportunities and social impact.
Among his latest achievements he designed the strategy and is now implementing a pioneering project redefining the public-private model in the Covid-19 economy in the EU supporting companies in the fight against the virus with funding, capabilities, and internationalisation.
Mr. Matraia personally leads the capacity building of the EU funded public procurement of innovation PRONTO (http://pronto-ppi.eu) project and has been appointed ad personam to the prestigious advisory group of the EU Agency for Cybersecurity ENISA.
