Tomáš Michaeli
Tomáš has been leading a team of key engineers in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the MEE region since 2020. For the last five years he has worked as a solution architect, where he has used application and platform contexts to implement highly resilient, scalable, adaptive security and compliance in cloud and software defined data centers. He has participated in regional projects with customers of OTP Bank, O2, Y-Soft, SkyToll, DHL and PSE.
Tomáš has more than sixteen years of pre-sales experience with top sales teams in CEMEA and MEE, including global customers. For the MEE NSX team, he received the CEMEA FY19 Innovation Award at VMware Worldwide Kickoff. Prior to joining VMware, he worked for nine years as a data center specialist for Cisco's regional team and for six years at Crossbeam, prior to its acquisition by Bluecoat.
He graduated with a master's degree in computer science from the Czech Technical University and held research positions at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. His research focused on parallel computations and scientific planned computations.
He is married, has a 19-year-old daughter and a 13-year-old son. In his free time he enjoys road or mountain biking, swimming, triathlon and skiing.
