Tomáš Vinař
Tomáš Vinař works as a university teacher at the Department of Applied Informatics, Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, Comenius University in Bratislava. He completed his PhD at the University of Waterloo in Canada, and later worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Cornell University in the USA. He is the guarantor of the Data Science study program and participates in the teaching of subjects in the fields of bioinformatics, algorithms and data structures, and machine learning. His research focuses on bioinformatics and the use of machine learning and probabilistic modeling in this area. He is the laureate of the ESET Science Award - outstanding university teacher from 2019.
