DISCUSSION: Why do we need a functioning and competitive digital state?
Discussions about leadership in any field lose their meaning if the functioning of the state, by its very nature, places obstacles and does not create an environment for the fulfillment of these ambitions. What does it mean in practice if we want Slovakia to be a world leader in something? In its current state, will the public sector support or hamper such efforts? Let us look at this through the eyes of those whose activities and business are significantly affected by the efficiency of state operation, rapid administration, availability of skilled labor and other areas, and answer the question of how the state and its digitization should go further, if Slovakia is really to play a leading role in something.
Speakers: Veronika Remišová (Deputy Prime Minister of investments, regional development and informatization of the Slovak Republic), Ronald Blaško (AmCham), Radoslav Danilák (Tachyum), Mário Lelovský (Republican Union of Employers), Anna Záhorčáková (DITEC)

The year of cleaning up informatization brought several fundamental changes to the functioning of the state. The changes are coming despite a relentless struggle with an unprecedented pandemic, which also represents a chance for a new impetus. We will look back on the first year in state IT and on the reform challenges that await us in the near future. -
