Vladimír Rohel
He is the Director of Security at the National Agency for Communications and Information Technology and has more than 25 years of experience in ICT and cybersecurity in various public institutions. During his career, he worked, for example, at the General Staff of the Czech Republic Army, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, served in the Czech Permanent Delegation to NATO in Brussels, headed ICT, and was at the birth of cybersecurity in the Czechoslovak Republic during his work at the National Security Office. In 2012, he was appointed as the first director of the National Cyber Security Center of the Czech Republic. In January 2017, Mr. Rohel began working for the state-owned enterprise NAKIT as Director of the Section Security and Security Director. Mr. Rohel is also active outside of his work at NAKIT. Since 2009, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the AFCEA, a member of the Working Group Cybersecurity of the AECEA, where he has participated in the creation of the “Cybersoutez.cz” High School Cyber Security Competition. He was a member of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Computational Technology of Masaryk University in Brno. He speaks in the media, lectures, and writes articles on cybersecurity.

Key challenges for cyber and how we are fixing them
Every organization currently faces many challenges in cybersecurity. In a brief presentation, I will try to focus on the key ones and introduce the listeners to how we deal with them in NAKIT and together with the Ministry of the Interior for him and in some cases for the state.
