Zuzana Katreniaková
Zuzana Katreniaková, M.D., PhD has more than 20 years of research experience in the field of mental health, options for promoting the health of older people and strengthening the public health system. As a member of the Board of Directors of the European Public Health Association (EUPHA) and Chair of the Steering Committee of the Slovak Association of Public Health (SAVEZ), she also focuses on the transfer of research outputs into public health policy and practice. In the framework of cooperation with the Slovak Ministry of Health and WHO Europe, she was the coordinator of the national working group for the first comprehensive assessment of the public health system in Slovakia (WHO-BCA 2012-2013). She was a member of the national expert working group within the Long-term Care Strategy project (2017-2019). She is also a guarantor in the Prevention Platform project, which aims to propose concrete measures, activities and pilot projects to improve primary and secondary prevention in Slovakia by increasing the participation of the adult population in regular health check-ups.
