She graduated in biology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Comenius University in Bratislava and obtained her PhD in immunology at the Institute of Neuroimmunology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. Since 2017, she has been working on issues of science communication, open science and citizen science within the Contact Office for Open Science of the Centre for Scientific and Technical Information of the Slovak Republic. She contributed to the development of the National Strategy for Open Science and is also co-author of the scholarly publishing guide Sprievodca svetom vedeckého publikovania (https://zenodo.org/record/3236329) and online course Začnime si s občianskou vedou (Let's start with citizen science) on the platform EU-citizen.science.
