9:00 - 9:25 Global Challenges of Societal Transformation (hall LONDON I+II) INTERPRETED
In a rapidly changing world, we are experiencing a significant shift: from fossil to biological and circular economies, from analog to digital, from the government to business-led structures, and a mix of top-down and bottom-up approaches. These transformations require a new perspective on building resilient industries and economies. The critical question is: how can we keep our industries strong and accelerate innovation in this dynamic environment?

9:25 - 10:05 Keynote: How to restart Europe? (hall LONDON I+II) INTERPRETED
"Europe has been worried about a slowdown in growth since the beginning of this century. Various strategies to boost growth have come and gone, but the trend has remained unchanged."
These are the opening words of a recent report written by Mario Draghi - former President of the European Central Bank and one of our greatest economic minds - after being tasked by the European Commission to share his personal vision for the future of European competitiveness. Europe really does need growth, because it is lagging behind other economies in terms of productivity growth, investment in innovation and the ability to develop and exploit new technologies. At the same time, Atomico's annual report "The State of European Technology" presents an optimistic case, highlighting Europe's enormous potential for future innovation and a number of elements that bode well for the future of its economies.  Experienced technology journalist and analyst of the European startup ecosystem Robin Wauters will share key insights from both reports and argue that their conclusions are not contradictory in most cases.

11:50 – 12:45 Digitization of Energy (hall LONDON I+II) INTERPRETED
Energy efficiency is crucial for businesses, especially after the recent energy crisis that threatened their profitability. Modern digital technologies and skills enable businesses to reduce energy consumption and electricity costs, leading to greater competitiveness and sustainability. Own renewable energy sources and smart grids contribute to efficient management of energy flows. Energy communities that enable the mutual production, distribution and consumption of energy are becoming an important element in this transformation. For example, OKTE introduced the Energy Data Center, which promotes flexibility in the energy market and allows providers to access energy data. These measures help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to the fight against global warming. Efficient use of energy can thus ensure the same or higher level of comfort with lower consumption.

11:30 - 12:15 How to Efficiently Transform Small and Medium Enterprises? (hall BERLIN)
Slovakia is the second most industrialized country in Europe. 32% of the total employed population works in industry. Only the Czech Republic is ahead of us. On the other hand, labor productivity is among the lowest in Europe. Only Bulgaria is worse off. The relative decrease in labor productivity is a trend that we can observe for a long time. This paints a rather gloomy perspective not only for the competitiveness of Slovak companies, but also for the people who are employed in these companies. In all strategic materials, it is written about the support of the transformation of industrial production to production based on innovations. If we answer these questions truthfully and accurately, we can also adopt policies and measures to reverse the negative trends.

12:45 – 13:30 Quantum Computing (hall LONDON I+II) INTERPRETED
What is the future of Quantum Computing, and what role will post-quantum cryptography play? Why is it essential to invest in building quantum talent? What is the position of Quantum Computing within technology, and what solutions does the industry offer us? And what practical applications of QC are already available today? The National Centre for Quantum Technologies (QUTE.sk), together with its partner Aricoma (www.aricoma.com/qc), supports the development of quantum technologies and the education of students and IT professionals in the field of quantum computing in Slovakia. Quantum computers solve specific tasks (e.g., AI, supercomputing) faster than classical computers but do not replace them. Today's "Utility Era" also brings its commercial use, supported by vendor IBM and solution provider Aricoma. Why are they including Quantum Computing in their plans, and what is their motivation for investing in them?

16:05 – 16:55 ITAPA OPEN TALK: The End of Civilization? (hall LONDON I+II)
Can we, as humanity, still culturally reflect developments in the natural sciences and technology? It was the Enlightenment when the last time educated people tried to take a holistic approach and when successes in mathematics or astronomy triggered heated philosophical debates. Not so today. Today, the humanities and the natural sciences no longer communicate; the further they go on, the less they understand each other. Is our civilization coming to an end as a single cultural entity? Will we as a society disintegrate into several closed "bubbles" or will we find a unifying element and be able to return to cognitive integrity? And is that even important?
